With over 18 years of massage therapy practice, I have worked just about everywhere—spas, resorts, medical massage clinics, and private practice. As I’ve had a forte for deep, therapeutic, and sports-type work that incorporates stretching and range-of-motion improvement, I have also served as an independent contractor for two doctors and the Orlando Magic basketball team. I feel honored to have had extraordinary results and rapport with clients from practically all over the world and all backgrounds.
I believe this work was something of a calling for me. I was called “gifted” even before I attended massage school. As I have worked intuitively, combining modalities, many have called my work wonderfully unique. My style is basically slow and flowing, to relax the nervous system, allowing greater tissue penetration and deeper relaxation with less discomfort. Care is taken to provide the best, focused attention to individual needs, respecting sensitivities of the individual client. With certain therapeutic clients, the work may incorporate gentle lymphatic stimulation and drainage techniques, myo-fascial techniques, guided imagery or hypnosis, anti-inflammatory creams and heat therapy, reflexology, or various kinds of Eastern–based energy work.
